'AGAVE' is a short experimental film about the difficulties of an online relationship. A couple has been separated from each other and can only interact with each other in the digital world. However, although they can see each other and talk to each other, they don't feel like they are 'there'. They hunger for each other's intimacy and touch. However, due to the binding of the digital world, it traps them in this infinite loop which takes a toll in their relationship.

Throughout this project Poe Villers and I manage the sound elements of the film both creatively and technically. I design the soundscape of the film in collaboration with the Director, Marc Casademont Cases. I also record all of the sound bites and mix for the film on set. 

​

I was also given the responsibility of casting the actresses on the film. I collaborated with the director Marc and Producers Kenza, Poe and Kate to find the couple shown in the film. We wanted to find actors and actresses who are able to do intimate acts with each other but in a robotic way as that is what we want to present in the film as the couple are interacting digitally. After our audition day, we believed that Hayley, Vanessa and Rita were the perfect trio for this film.
