This is the official video for the Melaninmix group's 'Crossbar Challenge'. The boys attempt to hit the crossbar of the goal post whilst bantering and messing with each other.

As the videographer of this project, I worked closely with the manager of MCE Management and the Melaninmix group. I spent time talking and discussing with the boys and figuring out their style, lingo and how they function as a group and their interactions with each other. 

 

We discussed initially the style of video that the boys wanted to create, which was very reminiscing of popular YouTube groups like the Sidemen or Beta Squad. I did research and being a fan of the Sidemen and their videos, I knew exactly how to visually create this video whilst adding the 'flare' of the Melaninmix group to make the video stand out and have more character.
