This is the official crowdfunding trailer for the short film 'Talking to Herself'. It is currently in the post-production stage and will be released to film festivals across the world! It will be coming out soon

'Talking to Herself' is a story about a young girl named Mia, who is excited to start her new school project, and will be interviewing herself 15 years into the future. However, her expectations and excitement about meeting her future self, lead to disappointment...

The main themes of the films are time, memory and changes within ourselves/self-reflection.

Throughout this project, I worked closely with the Sound Recordist, Amelia Gilbert. We would have several meetings during the pre-production stages of the film to discuss and talk about microphone placements, set-ups and how to achieve them. I assisted with the placement of the lavalier microphones on the actor and actresses by utilising Rycote stickies for microphone placement on the costume, accompanied by overcovers to ensure the rustling was at a minimal.
