Title: 'Lee Collinson: So Sick Mashup'

On behalf of D6ix Records, Lee made four Mashup covers for February to March. These covers were recorded and produced in Redroom Studios in Southhampton, United Kingdom.  This is the second cover to be released.

As the videographer of this project, I worked closely with the artist, Lee Collinson, to discuss the meanin g and story behind his covers, which would help me better understand how he wanted to present these mashups visually. 

​

We wanted to keep the videos as simple as possible, using the three key lightings set up, accompanied with different coloured RBG lights in the background for both aesthetics and to portray a certain emotion with each colour we used within the video. We also used multiple angles to show all details of what is going on throughout the video and to also keep it eye-catching to the audience. 

​

In this case, we used purple, as purple signifies independence. Throughout the mashup, he is sending the message of his independence and being 'flirty' which matches with the colour purple as it is very playful, and fun and is often used in clubbing scenes.
