Lee Collinson: 'Wasn't Me Mashup'
Title: 'Lee Collinson: Wasn't Me Mashup'
Role: Director, Cinematographer, Editor
Year: 2022

On behalf of D6ix Records, Lee made four Mashup covers for February to March. These covers were recorded and produced in Redroom Studios in Southhampton, United Kingdom. This is the fourth cover to be released.

As the videographer of this project, I worked closely with the artist, Lee Collinson, closely to discuss the meaning and story behind his covers which would help me have a better understanding of how he wanted to present these mashups visually.

We wanted to keep the videos as simple as possible, using the three key lighting set up, accompanied with different colored RBG lights in the background for both aesthetic and to portray a certain emotion with each color we used within the video. We also used multiple angles to show all details of what is going on throughout the video and to also keep it eye catching to the audience.

In this case, we used red, as red signifies love, passion, lust and temptation. The songs that Lee strug together on this mashup are very lustful and he is telling the story of loving someone, having guilt and apologizing.
